Terms of Use

These terms cover this website only. They are not your cabinet contract. Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement that we both sign.

Last updated 28 July 2026

1. Who these terms are with

idcustomcabinets.com is operated by Splinters, LLC, doing business as Idaho Custom Cabinets. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means anyone who uses the site. We build custom cabinetry and serve the Treasure Valley, including Caldwell, Nampa, Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star and Kuna. We work as a service-area business, so the site does not list a street address and is not an invitation to visit a location.

2. Acceptance

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have authority to accept these terms for that company.

3. The site is informational

Everything here is published to show you the kind of work we do and how to get in touch. Descriptions of services, materials, finishes and construction methods are general. They are not offers, specifications, or promises about your project. Nothing on this site creates a contract, reserves a spot on our schedule, or fixes a price.

We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every page is complete, error-free or up to date. We may change, add or remove content at any time without notice.

4. Quote and contact submissions are requests only

Any form you submit through this site, and any email or call that follows from it, is a request for information. It is not an order, not an acceptance of an offer, and not a binding agreement of any kind. Submitting a form does not obligate us to take the job, and it does not obligate you to hire us.

We may decline or be unable to take on a project for any lawful reason, including scope, schedule, distance from our service area, or availability of materials. Nothing said in an enquiry, a phone call, a text message or an email sets a final price, a final scope, a start date or a completion date.

5. Pricing, availability and lead times

This site does not publish prices, and no figure discussed before a signed agreement is a fixed price. Cabinetry pricing depends on the room, the layout, the species and grade of wood, the door style, the finish, the hardware and the site conditions. Material costs and availability change. Any number we give you before an agreement is an estimate for discussion and can change once we have measured, specified and confirmed materials.

6. A signed agreement controls the work

If you hire us, the work is governed by a separate written agreement between you and Splinters, LLC dba Idaho Custom Cabinets. That agreement sets the scope, the specifications, the price, the payment terms, the schedule and any warranty. Where anything on this website conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement wins. Website copy is marketing and information; it is not a term of your contract.

We hold Idaho contractor registration RCE-68831.

7. Photographs show past work

The photographs on this site are of cabinetry we have actually built. They are there to show craftsmanship, style and detail. They are not a guarantee that your project will look the same, use the same materials, or produce the same result.

Wood is a natural material. Grain, colour and figure vary from board to board and from tree to tree. Stain and paint read differently on different species, and finished colour is affected by lighting, adjacent surfaces and age. Stone, tile, hardware and appliances shown in a photograph were often supplied by others and may no longer be available. Screens vary too, so colour on your monitor or phone is not a colour sample. Before we build, we confirm species, door style, finish and hardware with you in writing, and we can match a stain to work you already have in your home the way we have done for other clients.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, photographs, page layout, graphics, the logo and the underlying code, is owned by us or used with permission and is protected by copyright and trademark law. "Idaho Custom Cabinets" and our logo are our marks.

You may view the site, print pages for your own reference, and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, scrape, resell or use our photographs or copy on another website, in advertising, in a listing, or in any commercial material without our written permission. If you would like to use a photograph, ask us. Removing a credit, watermark or copyright notice is not permitted.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, to attempt unauthorised access to it or the systems behind it, to scrape it in bulk by automated means, or to submit false, abusive or misleading information through a form. Do not submit anything through a form that you do not have the right to share.

10. Not professional design, engineering or code advice

Nothing on this site is architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing or code-compliance advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed design professional where your project needs one. Do not rely on general information here to make a construction decision. Talk to us about your specific job, and consult the appropriate licensed professional or your local building department where their sign-off is required.

11. No warranties for the website

The website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

This section is about the website. It does not limit or replace any warranty written into a signed agreement for cabinetry we build for you, and it does not affect any rights you have under Idaho law that cannot be waived.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website, even if we have been advised that such damages are possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to one hundred United States dollars.

Again, this limit applies to the website. Liability connected to cabinetry work we are actually contracted to perform is governed by the signed agreement for that work and by applicable Idaho law. Some limitations are not permitted in some jurisdictions, and where that is the case they do not apply to you.

13. Links to other websites

The site may link to pages we do not control, such as a supplier, a partner in the trades, or a public record of our contractor registration. We provide those links for convenience. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, products or practices of any third-party site. Once you leave this site, that site's terms and privacy policy apply.

14. Privacy

How we handle information you send through this site is explained in our Privacy Policy. In short: the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and we use your enquiry only to respond to it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Severability and the whole agreement

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is limited to the smallest extent necessary. If we do not enforce a term right away, that is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this website, and they do not replace any separate signed agreement for work.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. There are no accounts on this site, so we cannot notify you individually. Please check this page if it matters to you.

18. Contact

Questions about these terms, or a request to use a photograph, go to (208) 515-8662, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, or Idahocustomcabinets@gmail.com. If you would rather skip the form and just talk about a project, calling is the fastest way to reach Derek.

Note: these terms describe how this website works. They are not legal advice, and they are not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney.
